Anyone who knows me, knows that snack time is my favorite time.😍😍😍
I was at Costco the other day shopping with my husband (Adrian) and I came across this new organic trail mix called "Prana Trail Mix". It looked super tasty but was TWICE the price of the generic stuff! I already had some of the "Organic Prana Chocolate Bits" at home, so I decided to create my own more affordable version with the ingredients I already had at home.
It turned our pretty great! Here's the recipe I used:
Homemade "Prana Trail Mix"
1 cup almonds
1 cup cashews
1 cup pecans
1 cup peanuts
1 cup pumpkin seeds
1 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup *prana organic dark chocolate bits
1 tsp sea salt
( *You can add more depending on how much chocolate you like 😉)
Mix all ingredients together in a container and enjoy! 1/4 cup is considered a snack size serving for all those who are currently on my "Lose It In 6" -six week holistic eating & weight loss challenge.😉👌
I prefer to use raw nuts and seeds and store my trail mix in an airtight container in the fridge. When you need some, just portion it out as I needed.
